A Letter From Our Founder

At just 22 years old, I founded Career InTouch with a simple mission: to inform, motivate, and inspire young people.

When I started Career InTouch, I didn’t have accolades in mind or a perfect system in place. I simply had an unshakable belief that when a young person has someone they can trust, count on, and turn to for guidance, there is very little they cannot overcome.

My own experiences, along with the mentors who helped change the course of my life, showed me just how powerful that kind of support can be. I wanted to create something that would give young people that same sense of connection, guidance, and possibility.

Career InTouch was created to make sure young people are seen, heard, challenged, and supported before they reach a crisis point. Through trusted mentorship, safe spaces, and meaningful opportunities, we strive to remind every young person of who they are and who they are capable of becoming.

At the center of everything we do is love, consistency, and community. We believe that sometimes, having the right person in your corner can change the direction of your life.

Princess serves as the Girls Lead Student Mentor for the IMI Program, where she provides guidance, encouragement, and support to the girls of the program. With a passion for beauty and personal growth, she helps mentees build confidence, develop life skills, and reach their full potential.

Demario is passionate about basketball and using sports as a tool for mentorship and personal growth. He strives to inspire and support young people by teaching teamwork, discipline, leadership, and perseverance both on and off the court.

    Johnathan oversees Career InTouch's day-to-day operations and scheduling, helping ensure programs, events, and organizational activities run smoothly. He keeps schedules organized, coordinates logistics, and works across the team to keep operations on track and aligned with Career InTouch's goals.

    Social Media Specialist

    Coco manages Career InTouch's social media presence, creating content and maintaining the organization's online platforms. She oversees social media accounts, designs merchandise, and helps ensure the website and digital communications run smoothly while keeping the community informed and engaged.

    Marketing Manager

    Gavin leads Career InTouch's marketing efforts, overseeing the marketing team and ensuring projects run smoothly. He captures and edits photos and videos, creates engaging content for social media and the website, and helps share the organization's mission and impact with the community.

    Anthony supports Career InTouch's marketing efforts by capturing photos and videos that showcase the organization's programs, events, and impact. He also edits content for social media and the website, helping tell the stories of the people and communities Career InTouch serves.

    Kyrah wants to lead by example and be someone younger mentees can turn to. With a passion for basketball and understanding emotions, she hopes to make a positive difference while pursuing sociology and psychology after high school.

    Gerard is passionate about helping younger mentees discover their dreams and passions while serving as a positive role model. He enjoys photography, football, drawing, and fashion, and plans to study architecture with a minor in photography.

    Alasia joined IMI to make a difference and inspire others to become the best versions of themselves. She enjoys working, drawing, and music, and plans to study finance in college.
